As per the latest reports, “Bushwhacker Butch whose real name was Bob Miller, a member of the WWE hall of Fame and also a tag team pro wrestling legend died at the age of 78.
Bushwhacker Butch was rushed to the hospital during WrestleMania’s 39th weekend after he suffered a medical episode.
The death of Miller was confirmed by the wrestler’s niece, Jackie who is the daughter of his tag team partner Bushwhacker Luke Williams. Bushwhacker Luke shared the post saying that Butch died late Sunday night.
He posted –
“In life, I had a brother and his name was Bob Miller. I love you, Bob. Until I see you again, WOOOOAHH YEEEEAAHH!” he concluded.
The Bushwhackers first appeared in the WWE in 1988 as a comedic tag team, walking to the ring in a comical way, waving their arms in the air. They would even lick the skulls of their opponents and themselves.
Throughout the course of their career, the tag team wrestled for a variety of organizations, including the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), All Japan Pro Wrestling, and Stu Hart’s Stampede Wrestling in Canada.
